X S night club Las Vegas

What can be a better place than X S Nightclub in Las Vegas for new year celebration

XS New Years Eve 2013 with Avicii

The most expensive club ever built in Las Vegas.Best for Nightlife
That's because The XS nightclub at the Wynn is stunningly beautiful, and lets the crowds in at an average (for Vegas) price of twenty to thirty dollars most nights
The 40,000 square feet club is built around a swimming pool. It's a gorgeous sight, inside and out. Large areas of the water are shallow enough to dance in, and every night girls can be seen, with shoes in one hand and a drink in the other, laughing and splashing around. The music pumps everywhere, a mix of Hip-Hop, House, and even a little Salsa. The outdoor area, even if it's packed, feels a little calmer than the indoors, probably due to the breeze and the open space of the pool. Bottle service is available inside and out, and useful items fill the space, like free seats and stripper poles. The bathrooms are big, beautiful, and service people are everywhere. Men will have their jackets dusted lint-free while they wash their hands, and women can solicit the help of free manicurists and makeup artists.  A perfect place for Bachelor and Bachelorette parties

Moulin Rouge , A Place of Romantic Night Out in Paris

Paris considered as one of the most romantic place on earth and its night life enjoys the status of the most colourful and romantic night life in the world .
When we talk about the night life of Paris , most of us do mention about The Moulin Rouge.

Moulin Rouge is best known as the spiritual birthplace of the modern form of the can-can dance. Originally introduced as a seductive dance by the courtesans who operated from the site, the can-can dance revue evolved into a form of entertainment of its own and led to the introduction of cabarets across Europe. Today, Moulin Rouge is a tourist attraction, offering musical dance entertainment for visitors from around the world. The club's decor still contains much of the romance of turn-of-the-20th-century France.

Moulin Rouge is a cabaret in Paris, France. It was built in 1889 by Joseph Oller, who also owned the Paris Olympia. Close to Montmartre in the Paris district of Pigalle on Boulevard de Clichy in the 18th arrondissement, it is marked by the red windmill on its roof. The closest métro station is Blanche.

I Should or I Shouldn’t ? :-

You will always get a mixed review for this Club. Some will say it is worth visiting and some will say it not so good.

Our take is :-

If you have ever visited the similar big Clubs in Europe or USA, or if you have ever seen a Vegas Show then you may not like it very much. It’s way too expensive as well. Some people find it too crowded also. Some time you may need to share your table with some strangers. Some tourists avoid eating there because of the high price of food and drink and if you are vegetarian then eating in the Moulin Rouge would be worthless for you. Some time you have to wait in queue to get inside which might be painful in winter.
BUT, it is also true that many tourist do list it among their must see places list and it gets many recommendations also. So if you are in Paris, then plan smartly and enjoy the Moulin Rouge, and we are here to help you on this:-

How to Plan for the Moulin Rouge in best way :-

1) Arrange discounted tickets

Most of the tour operators arrange the tickets for The Moulin Rouge. Though the price of the tickets are on the higher side but if you plan well and surf through some useful sites , you can actually save some money. Here are the list of some of the sites providing discount for the Moulin Rouge :-

2) You can save a lot of money if you arrange for your dinner somewhere else.

4) Definitely not a place to go with very small kids.

5 ) Book in advance to get a good place and table .

6 ) Must ask to the information centre or your tour operator for the transport arrangement.

Chandipur Beach , a Unique Phenomenon for Beach Lovers

Sea beaches are one of the most shot after destinations for a relaxing holiday. But only few beaches enjoy the position of being special and interesting. One such place is Chandipur beach in Orissa state in India. Though it is not among the most popular tourism beaches of India, but certainly it stands out in the crowd for the beach lovers.

Have you seen the sea disappear in front of your eyes? A unique phenomenon rarely seen anywhere else, the sea recedes by as much as five kilometres every day on the Chandipur beach in eastern India, not just enchanting the onlooker but also offering an opportunity to literally walk into the sea.

Where is it :-  Chandipur is a small sea beach in Balasore District, Orissa, India.
It’s almost like magical .  If you spend a whole day on this lovely beach you can easily distinguish  this beach from the other beaches.

As the day progresses, sea water recedes about 5 kms during low tide and advances to the shore line again during high tide in the evening. Elsewhere, the waves dash on the shore shouting madly, but here they are like a musical fountain, soothing to the ears. Elsewhere, the waters wait for the visitors but here the visitors have to wait for the waters. Elsewhere, the waves go wild and the visitors calm but here the ecstasy of tourists on touring orissa will go wild while the waves remain calm.

Chasing the waves when the sea retreat is an unforgettable experience. Once the sea retreats back into the horizon, the exposed seabed, littered with red starfishes and drift woods that make for souvenirs also, is open to all for walks and jeep rides. If you are a beachcomber then go gathering abandoned seashells , I am so sure you will get some finest pieces to gift to your loved ones.

Swaying casuarinas, sand dunes and the vast open beach makes Chandipur one of the finest and less explored beaches in India, a compelling destination. The nearby small fishing harbour (Balaramgadi) ensures the availability of good sea foods at the hotels at the beach. A new restaurant named MegaBites offers tasty Italian and Indian foods. Away from the crowd and cacophony albeit with very good connectivity (Roads and railway) this place should be savoured before many people explore this.Once the sea is back to its resting spot, you can go swimming and build sand castles and wait for the sea to head for another round of hide and seek.

There are other places that you can visit on your tour to Chandipur Beach that will make your stay in Chandipur, arranged by Tourism of Orissa, an unforgettable vacation.

The Khirachora Gopinath Shrine in Remuna (25 km); Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary and Jagannath Temple in Nilagiri (40 km); Bhudara Chandi Shrine in Sajanagarh (45 km); Shivalinga, elephant herds and trekking of Nilgiri Hills at Panchalingeswar (45 km); the Simlipal National Park and Tiger Reserve (100 km) and the nearby waterfalls and Shakti Shrine of Deokund are the other tourist attractions nearby Chandipur Beach, Orissa, that you can visit on your tour to Chandipur Beach with Tourism of Orissa.

There are many beach facing hotels, resorts and lodges where you can stay on your tour to Chandipur in Orissa.

Crafts  - You can buy some great art pieces for your showcase

India has Discovered its Own Stonehenge

Stonehenge is a world renowned site. Recently I came across one interesting piece of news that India has discovered its own version of the Stonehenge.
The news is as follow :-

Hindustan Times
Mumbai, March 15, 2012

India may have its own version of Stonehenge, England’s prehistoric monument with astronomical associations, in Karnataka. Researchers from the Mumbai-based Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) and Manipal University have discovered 26 megalithic constructions at Byse near Hosnagara , 140 km from Mangalore, which were probably used as an astronomical observatory by its inhabitants.

The three-member team has claimed that the menhirs or stones, dating prior to 1000BC, are the first strong evidence of a monument with intentional solar and possible stellar alignments among Indian megaliths.
Using computer simulations, the team found that the standing stones are aligned to the north, east, south and west directions and also match the two solstices and equinoxes.  While the two solstices mark the longest and shortest days of the year, an equinox occurs when the sun is in the same plane as the earth’s equator.
“The megaliths may have helped inhabitants know the various seasons; helping them carry out agriculture and other trade,” said Mayank Vahia, astrophysicist, TIFR. “The study establishes that India had a strong intellectual tradition of precise astronomical observation not copied from any other civilisation.”
The study ‘Stone alignment with solar and other sightlines in South India’ is published in the latest issue of Current Science, published by the Indian Academy of Sciences based in Bangalore.
“Although the site was discovered in 1975, we went back to literature and found that nothing more of them was studied,” said professor Srikumar M Menon from the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, Manipal University.

The Place is - Near Hosnagara  in the state of Karnataka , India . The place is close to the famous Indian Cities Mangalore and Bangalore

Snowdonia National Park  is situated in north Wales, it was founded in 1951. Covering some 823 square miles, the Snowdonia National Park is the second-largest National Park after the Lake District.
In the Welsh it is called Eryri ( Eh –ruh-ree) and the Welsh name of Snowdonia is “Yr Wyddfa” meaning Great Tomb. According to a legend a giant called Rita Gawr was slain here by king Arthur, and is buried at the summit.
It is an area with a population of  over 26,000 people.

The main attraction is Mount Snowdonia , stracched through 35 miles east to west and cover 50 miles north to south, with the height of 1085 metres / 3,560 feet. Caernarfon Castle :-

One of the must watch site is Caernarfon Castle, it is in the town Caernarfon . Caernarfon, situated between the beautiful Menai Straits and Mount Snowdon is a busy Welsh market town and a major tourist centre. Caernarfon Castle is the World Heritage Site, the most famous of Wales' castles, and the investiture in 1969 of Prince Charles as the present Prince of Wales. Indeed the town is dominated by King Edward the first's impressive medieval fortress and town walls, built as part of the iron ring of castles to secure his English foothold in Wales after the death of the last Prince of Wales.

But the town is older than its medieval castle would suggest. Much older. The must see features are the eagle tower, Edwards statue over the Kings gate , museum of the royal welsh fusiliers and Segontium roman fort. It represent the reflection of the walls of Constantinople. Llyn Tegid :-

Llyn Tegid or the lake Bala , the home for a shy monster name Teggie ( according to the legend ) and The gwyniad - a rare species of fish left over from the last ice age - lurks some 80 feet under water.
It is the largest natural body of water in Wales and a great attraction  for sailors and surfing lovers who benefit from high winds sweeping down from the Aran Mountains. Cyclists find much to challenge and inspire them in three mountain ranges, as well as numerous forest and moorland tracks at the edge of the National Park. In fact the small town of Bala, situated at the northern edge of the Lake, swarms with sightseers and sporty folk for most of the summer.
